Tr3s is proud to introduce you to Mateo, the winner of our January El Headliner contest! With the sounds of the traditional music of his Ecuadorian roots and culture and the hip hop influences within his music, Mateo produces a sound you are sure to love!

Although the name of this band of Dominican origin seems to be a paradox, to the four members and its creator, it’s a reflection of their new music. With styles and influences derived from hip hop and R&B, Ruina Nueva also integrates the authentic style of Salsa in the music and lyrics, creating a perfect mixture to appeal to and bridge a new generation of fans.

Mr. Pauer’s musical influences consist of diverse musical genres ranging from rock, electro, new wave, and house, to tropical, cumbia, and afro-beats, creating the dynamic musical explosion heard in his album and his live shows.
